How to Read GPU Cloud Pricing: Per GPU-Hour & Hidden Fees

Instance prices, per GPU-hour conversion, tax, exchange rates and hidden network egress fees.

How to read GPU cloud pricing

Instance price vs price per GPU

Providers list 1-GPU and 8-GPU instances side by side. An 8-GPU instance looks far more expensive per hour, but divided by its GPU count it can be similar or cheaper.

Price per GPU-hour = instance price per hour ÷ GPUs in the instance

Every Perhour table sorts by this value. The provider's original price stays in the listed price column.

Tax

Korean providers usually list prices excluding VAT. Global providers often show no tax note, or only state that tax is added. Perhour compares everything excluding VAT and flags prices that come without a tax note. Korean businesses may pay an extra 10% VAT on top.

Exchange rate

Comparing USD and KRW prices in one table needs a conversion. Perhour uses one fixed exchange rate for every conversion and shows the rate and its date above each table. Your actual charge depends on your card or bank rate and any foreign transaction fees.

Costs not in the table

Hourly GPU prices usually exclude:

  • Storage for disks and volumes
  • Outbound data transfer (egress)
  • Public IPs, snapshots and backups
  • Volume charges that continue while an instance is stopped

What is included differs by provider, so check the provider's pricing page.

Billing type

Perhour compares on-demand prices only: pay as you go, no commitment. Spot (interruptible) and 1- or 3-year committed prices can be lower but come with different terms, so they are not mixed into the same table.

How to Check on Perhour

Browse the all GPU cloud prices table to sort offerings by normalized hourly cost, or check the GPU directory and cloud provider directory for detailed specs.
